Matterhorn Peak(12,264') - On the Northern border of Yosemite, this peak has an outstanding view. While the southwest slope hosts a trail up screeslopes, the North Face offers fantastic routes that include snow and glacier approaches. The surrounding Sawtooth range offers a wealth a climbing objectives from both the north and south.
North Arete(II 5.7) - A short glacier approach leads to this prominent arete which is the most distinctive feature on the peak. A classic route, it is possible to do in winter for a real alpine experience.
The Doodad(11,680' 5.4) - The Doodad is a huge 50 foot high boulder, perched precariously atop a 500 tall ridge just west of Matterhorn Peak. Amazingly, it overhangs on every side, yet has a juggy crack on the south side that is relatively easy.
The Three Teeth(11,680 5.5-5.9) - Various routes up the north and south sides of these formations offer numerous outings on routes up to 800 feet tall. The traverse of the Three Teeth is a classic involving numerous rapells to descend various chasms and cliffs.
Rates: $300/day minimum for one person, $450/day for two, $600/day for three, and $750/day for a group of four people. Includes all trail food, camping, and permit fees. Does not include transport, lodging, or food in restaurants.
