Mt Dana(13,053') - This is the second highest peak in Yosemite and has a commanding view in every direction. It's proximity to Highway 120, and fairly easy trail to the summit make this likely the Sierra Nevada's easiest 13,000' summit. Mt Dana features offer a vareity of mountain experiences.
West Slope(Class I) - Enjoy a day of hiking up the second highest Peak in Yosemite. On the summit, peak identifications will be made, as well as climbing histories on various peaks. Bring the binoculars for this one.
Third Pillar of Dana(III 5.10a) - Falling from the Dana Plaqteau, this magnificent arete can easily be viewed from Highway 120 as a white pillar splitting the sky. Uniquely, the climb is approached by a trail that leads to the top. A series of spectacular rappels leads to the start of the climb. The difficulty gradually increases until the final overhanging crux.
Rates: $300/day minimum for one person, $450/day for two, $600/day for three, and $750/day for a group of four people. Includes all trail food, camping, and permit fees. Does not include transport, lodging, or food in restaurants.
